Our third presentation on: “Justice and Law… from ancient to modern times” – 20/11/2022
On Sunday 20/11/2022 we held the third part of our presentation titled “ Justice and Law… from ancient to modern times”
In this part we started from the concepts of law and justice during the classical Era of ancient Greece; we approached it through the presentation of the administration system of Justice in the political formations of ancient times and the various Athenian -and not only-court formations, procedures and imposed sentences.

Followingly, we moved on to a short presentation of the legal rules that bind and regulate the rights and obligations of the people, their family relationships, but also their property and assets during ancient times.

We await you for the fourth part of our presentation, where we will get to know the concepts of Justice and Law through the various philosophical currents of the classical Era but also how these affected ancient tragedy and comedy!
