when the request of the people is to get to know their self, Print, 23slider_487x324px 11:00 all, so we can discover together the hidden wisdom of the poetic word in our event titled: “Revealing the Hidden Wisdom of Poetry”. An analysis of K.P. Kavafis’ poem “God forsakes Anthony”, which we recently presented with great success in England, in coorganization with Morley College London.
We have the honour of the following esteemed persons of the arts greeting our event:
- Mr Kostas Karousos, President of the Greek Literary Society
- Ms Panayiota Zalonis-Christopoulou, member of GLS and editor of the literary magazine “Kelaino”
- Ms Leta Koutsohera, poetess and painter, 和
- Mr Giorgos Kalakallas, sculptor who will present “Kavafis and his portrait”.
The President of Omilos with his speech will introduce us to the Wisdom of the Poem followed by the deepening into Kavafis’ poem by Ms Paraskevi Kostopetrou, poetess, and head of our Literature Workshop and Ms Evangelia Gkioni, member of our Literary Workshop.
