Our presentation on Quantum Physics (01/04/2023)
In our presentation on Quantum Physics, on Saturday April the 1st, 2023, we learned how an explosion of knowledge at the beginning of the 20thcentury triggered the creation of the two pillars of modern physics: quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity.
Quantum mechanics is about the world of tiny particles, where there are no certainties but probabilities.
We discussed on the strange behavior of microparticles that depends on the presence or absence of an observer. We talked about the quantum superposition and the wave function collapse when observed.We spoke about Schrödinger’s cat and the interaction of photons (coupling).And finally, we discussed about the philosophical implications of quantum theory in our world.
