One of our seminars with the largest participation came to its conclusion just a few days ago. With participants from various countries – the UK, France, Turkey and others – but also from many different parts of Greece, we all experienced together what it means to unite with the others in practice.

To mark the beginning of the celebrations for the 40 years of Omilos, we organized, within the context of the seminar, an evening of Spirituality and Poetry, where there were some of the most notable contemporary Greek poets and litterateurs, among which were the following:

K. Karousos, F. Zampatha, L.Koutsohera, 小号. Zacharatos, 和. Kontozoglou, “The way of Union” – Our 16th International Seminar at Loutra Ipatis. Gontikas, 中号. Sourli, and others.

They live life one hundred per cent. This is the spiritual human being.”

A few days before we said goodbye to 2018, all of us together, The poet, from Greece and other countries, met at Lagadia Arkadias. At our seminar – which had one of the highest attendances – we had a creative three days of relaxation, rejuvenation and, 首先, the opportunity to be a group! The magical mountain landscape, the activities of the seminar, the strolls in nature, the conversations with the heads of Omilos in front of the fireplace until late at night or during lunch and dinner, the cheerfulness and joy on New Year’s Eve, “filled our days with the experience that spirituality is within every moment and gave us the boost to move forward”, as it was characteristically said by one of the participants.

除了, this was exactly the topic of our seminar. Action! How every person can get out of the limitations, of the aspects of inactiveness that suffocate them, and open themselves up to the world around them, to the person next to them, to pass into true action, to true consideration of and union with the others.

“The spiritual people go beyond their ego and separateness and they broaden, they acknowledge that they are all other people. They are happy for what others achieve and accomplish, because what they see is the group and not their separate selves. And the more they realize this, the stronger their inner position becomes and the more they experience inner freedom and happiness. 所以, things are simple. Stability in the spiritual path. Union with everything. Real experience of inner freedom and real experience of inner, profound joy. Because this is what our soul truly asks for.”

Through the seminars’ scheduled groups and activities but also in the things that might seem simple, such as a meal, a walk in nature, a discussion, the New Year’s Eve celebration, we spend three days as a group, all together, where we saw in action and experienced the union with others and the joy stemming from the experience of every moment.

“What impressed me the most is that besides the scheduled group meetings, I saw a greater group that constantly functions… Besides the discussions here in the seminar room, I also saw the same spiritual conversations during entertainment, walks, 晚餐, private discussions. “I felt the group, we were all together and there was something very spiritual in the way we celebrated New Year’s Eve. After my contact with Omilos, I notice that my poetry has begun to change; it is more profound, more conscious. Before that, I wrote poetry but in an unconscious way. I was trying to grasp the meaning of existence, the substance of things, but I was afraid to be conscious. “…the most beautiful part is when you feel that whatever you see with logic, are actualized and confirmed, and finally you feel them. Thank you for the love and togetherness you radiate so generously in all of Omilos’ events.”

Joy, togetherness and relaxation were the basic elements of the atmosphere in which our 14th seminar took place with the topic: “Open Mind is Like Open Soul”.

The four days of the seminar offered everyone an opportunity to rest and rejuvenate. The greek mountain range and the healing baths of the area contributed to this, but mostly the warm ambience and unity of the group were the things that made this seminar unique for us all.

Inner freedom was the essence of the seminar, and was proved to be something needed by all the participants. The subject matter was developed throughout the day with discussions at the programmed meetings of the seminar or during meals or at times of relaxation in the pool, during a walk or while having coffee. The heads of Omilos were available for any inquiry, clarification or personal matter for discussion.

Daily meditative relaxations, chorodromena and poetry analysis gave even more ways not only for deepening into the great subject of inner freedom, but mostly about how we can experience it in our everyday life. Of course, there were moments of amusement proving once again that we can be in the flow of spirituality by participating in all happenings of our life.
