“The poet says” – b
ut if the day is rainy, the light shines richer.
How profound this verse of the poem “Because I found glory from within” by Aggelos Sikelianos, which we explored tonight, based on the analysis in the book “The Wisdom of the Poem” by Dimitris Kakalidis.
It was on this Monday rainy night that we wandered within the deeper meanings of the poem, casting light into the hidden concepts and symbols; echoing our universal truths…; dolphins, octopuses and kitties; envelopes with secrets and aliens with weird voices travelling with their spacecrafts.
It was “amazing!”, “Αwesome!”, “I had a really great time!”, “Will we be playing space again? I could bring my spacesuit next time!”, “Maybe we could do a dance for kitties…”, “Is it over already?”, their enthousiastic voices filled the room when our evening together was over.
Our next meeting will take place on 2/7/2014 bei 19:30 and every Wednesday till the end of July!
The group is open to all children from the age of four.
