The President and the Vice-President of Omilos attended the event of the Greek Writers Society for the new year’s “vassilopita” – 20/2/2022
The President and the Vice-president of Omilos along with members of Omilos- Litterateurs, attended the Greek Writers Society new year event for the cutting of the “vasilopita” , after being invited by the President of the Society, Mr Kostas Karousos
In a happy atmosphere, the wishes for the new year were exchanged, while Mr Karousos spoke about our work with the warmest words, asking the President of Omilos to address a short greeting.

“[...] with publishing activity but also with its own building on Sarantaporou Street, Omilos Eksipiretiton actively participates in the everyday work of the country, spiritual and artistic… It is our honor to have you here with us, you that continue this uppermost effort -i would say- based on the circumstances that we face… We hope to host you soon in our premises for an Omilos’ event or a joint event. [...]
Danke. I wish every effort of yours in the social and literature field to bear fruits, because you are the only Society who has also expanded, I would say, beyond the literary activities.”
With these words, the President of the Greek Writers Society, Mr Karousos, called the the President of Omilos at the podium.

The President of Omilos addressed a short greeting, excerpt of which is the following:
“I want to extend my best wishes for a happy new year. It is our duty and honor to come to the Greek Writers Society, which is a spiritual factory, and you should know, Mr President, the work that the Society does supports the country, it helps and keeps the country standing in these difficult times. I would also like to say that we would be glad for you to visit the new space that we are fixing now”
