Presentation of the literary work of Mr Dinos Koubatis by our Literary Workshop

Omilos Eksipiretiton and its Literary Workshop continues to organize literary events and in the evening of Saturday April 12 2014, welcomed on its premises a great author and director, Mr Dinos Koubatis.

The event was prefaced by Ms Paraskevi Kostopetrou, poet, economist and Head of Omilos Eksipiretiton and Megas Seirios Publications. She stressed the need of deepening into sciences and arts and learning from them, as they represent an important part of the expression of the spiritual field. As she mentioned, through the development and spread of the spirit we can learn how to be well in our life.

Attendees had the opportunity to watch a video demonstrating Omilos’ activities and selfless action both domestically and abroad.

Ms Vassiliki Ergazaki, poetess-mathematician and Ms Marianna Smyrniotou, editor in Megas Seirios Publications, both members of the “Taller Literario”, presented the literary work of our distinguished guest, Mr Dinos Koubatis.

The poet, novelist and painter, Ms Panagiota Christopoulou-Zaloni, whose work has also been presented in Omilos from the “Taller Literario” in a previous event, spoke for the literary work of Mr Koubatis as well.

A video dedicated to the poetry of our guest and inspired by his poem “Oh, Namouna tou Aianta” (¡Ay, if only I was Ajax’s) followed that was edited by members of Omilos. The whole event was organized by members of Omilos as well.

Concluding the event, Mr Dinos Koubatis deeply thanked Omilos “for bowing with so much love and edited this presentation” in his honor which he described as “magnificent”, and did not neglect to add how much impressed he is by the work done in Omilos.

After the presentation, a buffet was served at the courtyard of Omilos where discussions on literature took place among the guests -men of Literature, of Spirit and of Arts, and of course members and friends of Omilos.
