29 Septiembre 2017, 19:15, Hellenic Centre, Londres. Our event starts, Poetry and Logos lead the way and… “ I sing. αρμενίζουμε στα πέλαγανα I bear the chants, κορδονια παπουτσιων ελαστικα word and poetry, θρακη νομοι πρωτευουσες wisdom and clay”.

The second part of the poetic trilogy by D. Kakalidis starts to unfold. Following the flow of the poem, with recitation in Greek and English and analysis on the meanings and the ideas the poet conveys, we reach the end of the presentation; the people attending stay with us until late for…some more conversation, some more contact, some more of the poetry deriving from team work and the love for Logos.

“I am from Romania and I love the Greek civilization, both ancient and contemporary. Tonight’s event, held at the Hellenic Centre, made me value and praise the impressive work of Dimitris Kakalidis. The event was truly fantastic! It moved our mind and soul, leaving us with a smile and eventually a drop of enlightened spirit. I also thank you for the remarkable initiative and the important work by all the wonderful members of Omilos who offered us this presentation.

“I appreciated the unexpected gift – the best piece of work from the author. Thank you so much!"

“Even though I do not speak Greek, I liked the recitation in its original language very much. The Logos of D. Kakalidis has great healing power”

“It was a professional presentation. Direct, lively, powerful with nothing pretentious”

The Greek television station “Hellenic TV” and the esteemed journalist Mr. Vasilis Panagis were there to record our event and present it not only to the Greek community in London, but also to a wider audience.

Por otra parte, with the event of the publication of the English translation of the book “Wisdom of the Poem”, we gave an interview on Hellenic TV about the book, the method of analysis with which we deepen into poetry and literature, and the overall work of Omilos.

Stay tuned! Soon, both shows will be presented!
