We were happy to receive today a thank you letter from the Head and the Teachers’ Association of the Special Vocational Gymnasium-Lyceum of Ilion, where our theatrical group performed the play “A LINE AND A DOT AND A MIRACLE ON THE SPOT”on April 19, 2024. The theatrical performance is based on our homonymous fairytale book which is published by Megas Series Publications.

Dear Ms. Evangelia Gkioni,

We would like to express our warmest thanks to yourself and the theatrical group of Omilos Eksipiretiton for the wonderful theatrical play “A LINE AND A DOT AND A MIRACLE ON THE SPOT” which took place in the amphitheatre of our School.

More than 40 étudiants, together with their teachers and the entire staff of the school attended the theatrical play. We all followed the hero, our Little Miracle, in the exploration of «…I want to become…» through its adventures. Our students were very happy to watch the play, they were very concentrated and dedicated to the play, and mainly, they participated through the interactive activities offered by your theatrical group.

Students went up to the stage to dance, enjoy and participate in the play each one in their own unique way. Plus spécifiquement, a student of ours, at the point where the Little Miracle was asking the Baker «…I want to become…», took a loaf of bread and went around to the amphitheatre dancing, full of joy because he himself was participating in the theatrical play with your group. Some students went up to the stage during the play and danced to their own dancing capabilities; some danced from their seats while some others participated in dancing with their wheelchairs.A student went on his own to greet all the members of the theatrical group, one by one, in order to show them his gratefulness and gladness.

Thank you very much for coming and selflessly giving smiles to all of us. Thank you for the message you passed that we do not need to be looking for the miracle as «EVERY CHILD IS A MIRACLE ON ITS OWN».

In the end, you donated to us your wonderful fairytale book with a written dedication for the library of our School. We believe that in our times, these actions of love and joy should be highlighted so that all can know who are those who actually support our children through their actions.

On Friday 19th of April, Omilos’ theatrical group performed for the students of the Special Needs Vocational Secondary & High School of Ilion, the theatrical play “A line and a dot and a miracle on the spot!"

We were happy to receive the following letter from Mrs N.K., special education teacher of the specific school, who we wholeheartedly thank for sharing her thoughts with us!

«Dear Theatrical Group of Omilos Eksipiretiton,

With this letter I want to express my thoughts and feelings that you evoked through the images of joy that you gifted the students of our school. I am coming to thank you from the depths of my heart for your tangible support. From the first week that I made the request for you to come to our school, you called me and discussed for a possible date to arrange the play. From my part I was explaining to you the possible difficulties that may occur with our students but you reassured me by telling me “Don’t worry, the children will watch and participate throughout the play”.

We thank each member of the theatrical group separately; you are also a MIRACLE, individually each one of you. Through the selfless offer of your play, you brought joy to our students lavishly. Or students really enjoyed it, danced with the Wiseman, the Miracle, the Baker, and the whole town of the Wows.

The roles of the Wiseman, the Godmother, the Miracle, the Baker, the Teacher, the Pupils and the whole Town of the Wows was as if your group had studied as actors, and they interacted with our students so nicely. I thank my colleague and member of your group, Valia who, when I learned about your play, was willing to explain to me each role of the story and how all this started as an idea to build a wonderful theatrical performance from a book by Omilos Eksipiretiton.

I thank each and every one separately: Tasos, Persa, Kostas, Ioulia and Vasiliki through the fantastic roles they performed. Warm thanks for the donation of your book -with a dedication- for the library of our school, so that all the teachers and students can read and search for the little Miracle that is hidden inside us.

As a substitute teacher in the school that I invited you to come, I will have the pleasure to invite you again, probably from the school I will be next year. After all the joy and uplifting that I saw in the eyes of my students, I must say you are as your title says “A line and a dot and a MIRACLE on the spot!”.

The Headmaster, the teaching staff of the school as well as the parents would like to thank “novelist and painter’ Société ” and especially its Theatrical Group, who visited our school on 26/3/2024 and presented the performance “A Line and a Dot and a Miracle on the Spot”. The students of our school watched the play with great enthusiasm, and they participated with smiles and applause throughout the performance, without getting bored for a minute.

We were fascinated by your colourful and cheerful set, the fancy costumes of the actors, as well as the passion and joy for creation of your actors and all the cast, who did not seem to be amateurs at all, on the contrary.

When I began going to Omilos, I wasn’t well psychologically at all. It was my last throw of the dice before I had to begin taking pills, as it had been suggested by the psychologist I was seeing then. The calmness and the simplicity the people there had, was what made me sit and listen to what they had to say to me.

The observer and meditation were the first things they suggested I do.

– “Anna you are fine, but you have to change the way you see life”.

– “No, I’m not”, I would insist.

I would present to them the most tragic things I was thinking about, my wish to commit suicide so as to eventually find peace. And their reaction was always the same, calmness and simplicity in their eyes. I can’t emphasize this enough…

- “You are fine, come, let’s do a relaxation and these thoughts will go away”, they would say.

And truly, they did… I would go there feeling very dark and miserable and I would always leave lighter and much stronger, without them telling me anything special or analysing my childhood years. With a relaxation, with an observation. This made me want to put into practice what they told me, and so I began writing my observer. I discovered many things about me through this. For me, the main thing was that indeed, it all has to do with how I deal with any situation I may be experiencing. Through observation, I changed it immediately and I could see that things are simple in the end. I would do a relaxation and see the tension I had in my body and immediately manage to calm it down. So simply, with a consideration, by simply focusing…

Selfless service was the next thing that they suggested to me. To respond to the need of your fellow human being and help them. And indeed, when I began doing this, I could see that we are all tormented by the same things. And when I saw it in someone else, I could calm them down and this would calm me down at the same time. Why? Because I was also helping myself… it’s that simple. I learned, and I am still learning, with three simple things that I included in my everyday life, to be calm, to live my life, my every moment, simply because I observe myself. To understand people and their functions, to see that we are all the same, and so not be able to keep my anger and frustration with them for very long. I learned to listen to my body and its needs through relaxation. And most importantly, I found out that they were right, I am well and I am strong, but I would forget this when I went through bad situations, I would get lost and become identified with my feelings and couldn’t see it.

Every Monday, Mr Andreas is there to discuss anything that may be concerning us. I remember the first time I was there. I entered the room and I saw a man with a very strict, serious presence, whose voice, when he began talking, emanated a calmness and love… LOVE – I cannot express it in any other way – for everyone, for whatever we were saying, even for the oddest thing that came to our minds. He simply sat and listened with the same seriousness and attention to any queries we may have had. He told us what I mentioned previously and what he describes in his book, they are his speeches. He showed us how we can put the simplest things into action in our everyday lives.

I feel very lucky that this book has come out and I am very much looking forward to the second one coming out because, unfortunately, I’m not able to attend every Monday. Now I have everything in one place and always in my bag. I read it every time that an issue is concerning me, as if it reminds me of the simplicity I should have in my functions, and it brings me back to the now, it takes me out of the identification with any feeling I may have at that moment.

I have given this book to two of my friends as well, who have never been to Omilos, they haven’t even heard about what we do there, and I received two different reactions. One of my friends loved it and he also has it with him all the time:

- “What beautiful things it says, Anna! And the weird thing is that we already know about them, we just don’t do them… and here they are described simply and we can easily put them into our lives.”

The reaction of my other friend was:

- “Oh, Anna, how nicely things are said in this book and yes, they are simple to put into our lives, but on the other hand, they aren’t that simple… the title has two different meanings:Simple6;isn’t itn’t it?’ and also ‘Simple it is not’ “.

What I understood was the difference between my two friends was their will. My first friend already wanted and was already itching inside (before he got this book in his hands) to change, and my other friend was simply curious to read it, but she didn’t feel the need inside her to change her functions. Even so, she asked to keep it because she said she could see something different and would like to read it again somAlorstiwhat I have seen is that it is simples simple, as long as we want it to be… as long as we want to change and be well. We have become used to being in misery and complaint, and when we don’t have these, we don’t like it. It’s unknown to us in the beginning, and we try to underplay it by saying that “no, it isn’t like that, it’s normal to be mean and angry since things aren’t going well”, putting all the blame on society and the state.

When we want to change, what we come to understand is that everything is IN OUR OWN HAND and that things are simple!!

I want to thank the Spiritual Healing group of Omilos Eksipiretiton for the healing and course of my health.

I had multiple myeloma. I had a transplant. Because of spiritual healing, my organism reacted positively very quickly without needing blood and platelets. The doctors said that it was one of the rare cases where there is such an immediate positive reaction.

Cependant, the illness had created three cancerous tumors on my spine. The doctors said that they will not go away, they are simply inactive. But a year after the transplant and without any medical intervention, only with spiritual healing, the tumours disappeared.

I thank the spiritual healing group warmly for my healing and the progress of my health.

I wish you strength for the continuation of your work.

After our music event on Byzantine music at the Hellenic Centre London (21/10/2022), the charismatic actor, director and journalist Mr. Vassilis Panayi shared his impressions with the readers of the newspaper “Paroikiaki”.

M.. Panayi is always interested in our work and gives us the floor to talk about our activities through his TV shows.

We thank him wholeheartedly for unfolding the aspects of our work with his genuine lyrical word and we wish him strength, health and success in his multifaceted cultural path.

“During the previous week, I had the joy and pleasure to find myself among people whose desire is to offer to their fellow human beings moments that make them feel calmness and peacefulness.

People whose purpose is to produce civilisation. Civilisation is the most benign thing that brings human beings closer together and gives them the opportunity to converse and exchange opinions on how to make the world a better place.

The Servers’ Society are a group that has come to us from Athens, and we have come to know them through the events that they have organised in the past, always with the ultimate aim of creating an atmosphere that unites people, whoever they may be, wherever they may come from.

They produce civilisation with nothing in return apart from having people around them who enjoy the themes of the events that they organise.

Last Friday (21-10-2022) they came to us again from Athens and they gave us a wonderful presentation on the subject of Byzantine music and its evolution through the liturgies in our churches.

The roots of Byzantine music are found in ancient Greece where the Theatre began. They gave us the opportunity to remember that all good things were born of the Greek civilisation.

They gave us the opportunity to learn how chanting works and the roles played by the priests and the chanters who perform the religious ceremonies in our churches. Like a theatre as it was in ancient Greece.

They explained to us their aims and why they continue to offer their services without expecting anything in return.

Civilisation is not traded and cannot be sold. It is produced with the sole purpose of making human beings better for a better future.

All of us can achieve the realisation of our dreams. As long as we believe that nothing is unachievable.

The Servers’ Society are deserving of congratulations because they fight with their works, which always have to do with the literary arts, with poetry, with the publishing of books, and with no expectation of getting something in return.

They produce Theatre for young children and for children with special abilities and perform it with free entrance at various venues so that their performances can be watched by all the people who wish to do so.

novelist and painter’ Society have expanded to Great Britain where members of their Association are, besides Greeks, also Cypriots and even English. There are also members from other minorities that live in the UK.

They have also expanded to Istanbul where they will develop the Greek civilisation in the future so as to be spread to the people who will become a part of Omilos Eksipiretiton (εσωτερικο σπυρι με πυον στα γεννητικα οργανα Health).

At the end of the day, my dearest friends, hope lives again. After so much bad news that we hear from the mass media every day, the multiple instances of abuse and rape in Greece and elsewhere, we find hope again, and we once more unfold our dreams for the future for a better society.

I am very happy that I managed to find myself in the place where the Servers Society gave us one more lesson in civilisation and strengthened us by giving us causes to reinforce our memory, filling our cells with pieces of our roots and our rich civilisation, qui, when needed, we will look to in order to strengthen our need to contribute to any efforts to develop our own civilisation.

There are more events of this kind coming in the following days, and we must pursue to be at the venues where they have been programmed to take place, so as to on the one hand support the people of civilisation, and on the other hand to enrich our own knowledge and fill in the gaps that may exist in the repositories of our minds.

The Open University of Cyprus will bring to us a wonderful event with the topic “Seferis… Memory hurts wherever you touch it!"

Let us benefit from the opportunity to be there and… let us hurt when touching the memories!

Thank you letter

I would like to warmly thank the Spiritual Healing Section of Omilos Eksipiretiton for all these years of spiritual healing and support. Since 2005-2006, when I asked for spiritual healing, I have dealt with several health issues, other more serious, and other less. Cependant, the spiritual healing section was always by my side with healing sessions in person by the group of healers as well as with distant healing for many years.

Spiritual healing has helped me overcome long-term issues that I carried from my childhood but also to recover completely from many health adventures that came along since.

For example, my right ankle had a sensitivity to “twist” and then severe pain would follow for days. This was a result of a sprain I had when I was 12 years old. This sensitivity has now vanished completely and my ankle is perfectly well without “twisting” in more than 7 years.

Also, when I was 21 years old, I developed a peripheral abscess and fistula, as well as polyps in the large intestine, which required 4 surgeries to treat them. In all that time, I had healing sessions in Omilos’ premises as well as distant healing and as a result I had minimum pain, my recovery was rapid and the doctors were very pleased with my course which they said was remarkable. I wish to add that regarding the polyps, after having regular tests every 2 ans, none has ever reappeared.

Par ailleurs, my last health issue which was the most serious one, was a cancerous tumor in the thyroid gland which is now cured as my tests are perfect ever since I had the gland removed (6 years ago). Plus, symptoms that I had developed due to the thyroid disease, like the endocrine exophthalmos, are now completely healed.

I am healthy with the contribution of Spiritual Healing and the support in various ways of the entire group of the Spiritual Healing Section.

And for this, I thank you all wholeheartedly.

I crossed the door of Omilos in September 2018. I found out about the work of Omilos by a friend who was a member. My motive was the change I saw in her.

I felt that my soul sought for a change but I didn’t know how to express it. Through my discipleship I discover aspects I didn’t know that exist or things I can indeed change.

In this seek, there was also an intense wish to have a second child. A dream that would come true a few months later with the help of the Healing Section of Omilos Eksipiretiton.

Things with IVF (in vitro fertilization) were not auspicious, as the fetuses were of medium quality and all the tests indicated a difficult condition. Pourtant, now, thanks to your help, I hold in my arms not one but two babies!

Thank you from the depths of my heart! God bless you and may you have light in your life!

“No, I will not sink in the wake of dreams

The poetry collection “FOR THE FLOWERS TO SING”, And there is always time (and much more) Vassiliki Ergazaki, is a responsible attestation of lyrical confession to the “hidden and the secret” of her soul’s internal repository.

In this repository, she partakes in the joys and the sorrows, and in her distillery, she deposits her “ALTER EGO” with contemplations and visions, wearing “unexpected wounds”.

Experience as a conception and a rendering of life, nature which walks alongside and collaborates with the events, this “blood of writing” becomes “Queen earth” and a river and light and a white seashore, a breath of the moment that reveals the other “depths of the source”, an invitation for the living and the dead, cool air in life’s furnace, and, on the other hand, zest and love and homesickness for the motherland, et “the Spring of the soul the persistent” for a poetess who does not give up and does not surrender her shield, on the contrary, fights night and day with a distinct expressional arsenal, which seeks the other voice of faces, of things and of situations.

“On the other edge of dawn

At the sacred hour

When the waves burn

The rocks officiate”.

Poetry from within, spiritual blossoming, and the rupture and fission of the horizons, a communication between the world above and the world below, a perpetual ignition and attestation, discovery and loss, “a garden burning” and light where the flowers and the fragrant herbs meet somewhere with “the expectation’s inside covers”, there where the colours and the souls fight

“to free the infinite”.

Every one of her poems has an unrivalled expressive cohesion and binding at the seams, and is, at the same time, a spiritual pilgrimage and the tracing of life and concomitantly of death.

Poetry with cuts and bastions there where “the voids and rifts” meet, and the grown-ups become children again, and the fragments from old photographs frantically seek the advent and the sacrament.

Voice and soul meet, myth and story somewhere they come together and somewhere they lose each other, alternating levels and “burning waves” that lead to an endless variety and “night-time tapestry”, and the words and shapes, given by the poetess with craftmanship, “travel visions” and desires always with the same direction and destination

“to the Delios island, the resplendent”.

“Every time you come I feel like I am connecting with the deeper, life, the quest, art, the vision, light, knowledge and love, titles of her poems, are also at the same time defining factors and a compass of her poetic becoming. Here we should say that the poetess has reverently partaken from the work and the mission of the unforgettable Dimitris Kakalidis, richly influenced by and radiating his visionary awareness.

A poetry with a personal manner and expression, a penetration into the wave and the workshop of the “primordial light”. Vassiliki Ergazaki merges, sinks into and emerges “in the paths of time” and of the Universe, with a contemplation and confrontation of era with time, taking stock, making sacrifices and going through pains which “set forth for the fightless battle” with thousands of cries, with peristyles and with expedient gifts and rewards of a soul with quests and memories and with footsteps there where “the frequencies of sounds mourn”.

A poetry that renews the alphabet of pain and travels longings and oaths and visions, that seeks “Mario who was killed in the school’s yard by a stray bullet”, her friend Voula who “within the human beings finds the Human Being”, Greece the Navigator with the panhuman ideals that exists as the Odyssey and as the One Rising form the Sea
