The blood donation that took place in Omilos’ great hall, in cooperation with the mobile blood drive unit of the “Laiko General Hospital” of Athens, was concluded with great success.

Many members and friends of Omilos participated as apart from the needs of our members, their relatives and also of the Hospital itself, Omilos’ Blood Bank responds to any need that might arise and we are capable of filling.

Cependant, since the need for blood is always great, whoever wishes, may donate blood to the Laiko General Hospital, as well as to any other hospital with a blood donation department, mentioning that it is for the Blood Bank of Omilos Eksipiretiton, with register number 10651.

We thank everyone for participating and will let you know for the next blood drive dates!

The regular blood donation held at our premises on 26/07/2023 was more than successful, as there was a great response and participation both from members and from friends of Omilos.

The doctors and nurses of the mobile blood donation unit of “Laiko” Hospital congratulated us for our continuous selfless contribution for 37 years now, since the early years of the establishment of Omilos.

Apart from the needs of our members, their relatives and the hospital itself, the Blood Bank of Omilos also responds to any other need that arises and we are able to meet.

Cependant, the need for blood is always increasing and anyone who wishes to do so, can donate blood both at the ̶Laikoko” Hospital and at any other hospital that serves them, indicating that it is for the Blood Bank of Omilos Eksipiretiton, with registration number: 10651

We share with you the thank you letter we received for a blood donation made by Omilos’ Blood Bank.

“I would like to thank Omilos Eksipiretiton for the immediate response to donate two units of blood needed for the operation I am going to have. Thank you so much for the work that you selflessly do.” N.K.

As part of our selfless service and social action, we have been maintaining a Blood Bank at “Laiko” Hospital since 1987, which serves the needs not only of our members and their relatives but also those of the hospital patients’, as well as any other need which may arise and we are able to meet.

At the moment, due to the special circumstances that exist because of yhe pandemic, it is not possible to conduct the regular blood drives that we used to organize at our premises in cooperation with the Hospital’s Mobile Blood Donation Unit.

Cependant, the need for blood is always high and anyone who wishes to do so can donate blood at Laiko Hospital, indicating that it is for the Blood Bank of the Servers’ Society.
